Send Email Notifications

This workflow actions will send an email based on the configuration. To use this action, click on Add action → Email while editing a workflow.

Email workflow action allows you to configure the email recipients, sender name, the reply-to email, the email subject, email content, and any attachments.

This action is versatile and can be used to send notifications to admins, or autoresponders to users who have submitted a form.

Admin notifications

Here is an example of how to configure an email action to send admin notifications.

Under Email recipients we are using a static email address - [email protected]. Note that we can use multiple email addresses separated by a comma.

Under Reply-to email we are referencing the Your email field. This will allow the admin to reply directly to the user who submitted the form.

Under Email content we have included some content, along with the Response summary reference. Response summary is a special reference that will include all the form response data in the email.

Autoresponders

We can tweak our email action to instead send an autoresponder to the user who submitted the form.

Under Email recipients, we are using the Your email field reference. This will send the email to the user who submitted the form.

Under Reply-to email, we are using a static email address - [email protected]. This will allow the user to reply directly to the admin.
