The New Formcrafts

You haven't heard anything from Formcrafts for a while because we have been working on something big. After almost two years, we are ready.

The new Formcrafts is faster, more reliable, and packed with new features. This update requires some manual steps, and is available to all accounts.

In this blog we would talk about what has changed. If you want to learn how to migrate your account read this migration post.

Overview of changes:

Dashboard

ph-dashboard.png
  1. Instead of simply user accounts, you now have organizations, workspaces, and then user profiles. This means better collaboration, and improved organization.
  2. Members in an organization now have roles - owner, admin, and member.
  3. Two-factor authentication is now available for all accounts.

Billing

  1. Annual subscriptions are now available.
  2. Usage-based billing for additional responses is now available.
  3. Higher storage limits, for the same price.

Form editor

ph-editor.png
  1. Brand new form editor, with Draft and Published states for forms.

  2. Test mode to submit and test form responses without affecting your live form data.
  3. New field: NPS (Net Promoter Score).
  4. New field: Calendly.
  5. Significant improvements to Dropdown, Checkbox, Rich text, Rating, and Table entry fields. Example, you can now populate your dropdown options from a Google Spreadsheet in real-time.
  6. Create form backups.

  7. Backgrounds layers - to create complex form backgrounds.
  8. Conditional logic now supports condition groups.
  9. Use conditional logic to change the available options of a Dropdown or MultipleChoice field.
  10. New feature: Dynamic Lookups. Adapt your form by looking up data from a remote source. For example, this can be used to create a currency conversion form that fetches the latest exchange rates from an API for the selected currency.
  11. New template gallery and dozens of new templates.

Workflows (new)

Formcrafts allows you to send emails, redirect users, and also trigger integrations on form submit. All post-submit actions are now available in a single place called Workflows, with some additional features:

  1. Workflows can be made conditional.
  2. Workflows can reference the result of other workflows.
  3. You can view detailed logs for all success / failure events.

Responses

ph-responses.png
  1. New and improved responses page with a tabular layout.
  2. Sort responses by any field.
  3. Create filter(s) based on any field.
  4. Easily search within responses.

Analytics

ph-reports.png
  1. View visitor sources based on automatically parsed UTM parameters.

  2. Improved field analytics, with special reports for certain fields like Rating, and NPS.

  3. Form engagement (new): View how many users started filling your form, and how many completed it. Track the time spend and drop-offs at each field, and form step.
