What's New at Formcrafts: June to August, 2024

We have launched a bunch of new features and upgrades since our major launch in June, 2024. This post aims to summarize what we have launched since.

Roadmap: We now have an in-app roadmap. You can suggest new features, add comments, and upvote ideas. We aim to improve this roadmap to also show progress and developer comments soon.

Product roadmap

Partial submission: One of the most requested features. You can now collect and view partial or abandoned form submissions (beta). This feature also includes support for tracking the form start date, last and update date. Plus, you can choose to track some or all fields, allowing you to implement anonymous vs full response tracking. Learn more about partial submissions in Formcrafts.

HubSpot integration: Dynamic prefill is now available for our HubSpot addon. You can fetch and display data from HubSpot on your forms. Learn more about using prefill with HubSpot. The other improvement to our HubSpot addon is improved lookup rules. Previously, you could create a create / update company action. We would find a company with that name or domain, and update it if found. You can now customize these lookup rules, instead of being limited to company name and domain. We aim to release these lookup rules for other objects as well.

Zendesk integration: Dynamic prefill (beta) is now available for our Zendesk addon. You can now fetch data from an existing ticket and display it on the form. This allows you to create ticket update forms, and more. Learn more about using prefill with Zendesk ticket forms.

Linear (new integration): Create Linear issues directly using your forms.

Klaviyo (new integration): Create signup forms that integrate with Klaviyo. We are looking to expand the functionality offered by our Klaviyo addon. Please let us know of any feedback.

Improved calculations: Previously you had to copy the field IDs and use them when creating math expressions. In the end formulas looked like this mess: `{ (field1 + ( field 2 * 10 ) + field3) / field4 }`. Not anymore. Our new math expression builder turns this into a breeze now:

Disable by date: You can now auto-disable your forms at a certain date. This is available under Settings.

Input prefix and suffix: Input fields can now have prefix and suffix - which can be a combination of text and icon. These change the visual appearance of the field. Our mortgage calculation form template is a good example of this.

Asterisks: You can now choose to show asterisks for required fields. This is available under Styling -> Other.

Custom tracking code: We now support custom tracking codes. This is available under Settings.

Do you have any feature requests? Let us know.
