Calendly field

Description

Calendly is a scheduling tool that allows users to book appointments or meetings with you. You can embed a Calendly widget in your form to allow users to select a date and time for a meeting. This field is useful for scheduling consultations, interviews, or other types of appointments.

Limitations

Formcrafts has little control over the styling and appearance of the Calendly widget, and this leads to some limitations:

  1. Scrollbar: The Calendly widget is displayed in an iframe, and would sometimes include a scrollbar if the widget is too large for the iframe.

  2. Scheduling: The user can select and confirm their appointment time in the Calendly widget. If they abandon the form after selecting the time, but before submitting the form, the appointment will still be scheduled.

Styling

  1. Multi-column layout: Use the layout setting under the General tab to display the field in a multi-column layout.

  2. Hide label: Check the Hide label from view setting under the General tab to hide the label from view.

Configuration

  1. Select event: Choose the Calendly event type that you want to embed in the form. You can create event types in your Calendly account and select them here.

  2. Hide event type details: Check this option to hide the event type details from the Calendly widget. This can be useful if you want to keep the form simple and only show the date and time selection.

  3. Hide GDPR banner: Check this option to hide the GDPR banner from the Calendly widget.
