6 good reasons
to try FormCrafts
  1. SurveyMonkey has confusing pricing

SurveyMonkey offers a lot of pricing options. SurveyMonkey's lowest-tier personal plan costs $99 a month. The plan above that costs $34 a month, but it is billed annually.
For multi-users SurveyMonkey has business plans which begin at $27 a month, billed annually.
In contrast, FormCrafts has only one category of plans, starting at $29. Most plans include sub-user accounts, but you can add additional users on top of that for $10 a month. All plans are billed monthly, so you can signup and cancel easily.
    Which one do you prefer?

  2. The free plan is very limited at SurveyMonkey

SurveyMonkey has a very limited free plan. Unlike FormCrafts, SurveyMonkey's free plan does't allow logos, conditional logic, and limits the form views.
SurveyMonkey is also very pushy with upselling. We tested their dashboard, and the form editor page had 3 banners and 1 button asking us to upgrade.

  3. SurveyMonkey's user interface is dated

SurveyMonkey's dashboard and form editor are not very easy to use. It is full of upgrade banners and their own surveys. It is not a single-page app, unlike most modern web applications, which means longer wait times.

  4. SurveyMonkey's form editor features are lacking

FormCrafts auto-saves your form progress, like Google docs does. There is no save button. SurveyMonkey requires you to save each field.
SurveyMonkey's form editor page doesn't show how your form would look like, which means you will be taking a lot more trips to the preview page.

  5. Data privacy issues

SurveyMonkey finds an audience for your surveys, for a price. This is useful if you want to invite the general public to take your surveys. SurveyMonkey also allows you to compare your survey results with industry standards, which is a good feature, but also makes us wary about data privacy.

  6. SurveyMonkey is mostly sbout surveys

SurveyMonkey was designed to be a survey platform, rather than a form platform. If you want to make support forms, contact forms, lead generation forms, application forms, payment forms, etc ... you will run into limitations. SurveyMonkey offers a lot of features, but they seem disjointed since the core product was built around surveys.
FormCrafts was designed for forms, whether it's surveys, payment forms, or complex multi-page application forms.
