Why is the indicator light not flashing?
Plug your device into an electrical outlet then hold down the button for 5 seconds or until the indicator light starts flashing.
The indicator light will flash either rapidly for EZ Mode or slowly for AP Mode. Hold down the power button for 5 seconds to switch between modes.
If the indicator light does not light up at all, try plugging it into another electrical outlet. If it still doesn't light up, finish submitting this support ticket and we will contact you as soon as possible.
Why is the Next button not working?
Activate the Next button by tapping the text Indicator flashing rapidly or Indicator flashing slowly just above the Next button. Then tap Next to progress to the next screen.
I can't find my schedule. What happened?
Schedules are located either in the device panel or in Automation on the Smart tab.
Some users have unintentionally created multiple KMC Smart accounts using their phone number one time and their email address another time. You may want to log in using either your phone number or email address to see if the schedule is in another account.
If you still can't find your schedule, the best solution is to reset your device. Hold down the button on your smart device until the indicator light starts flashing. Your device has now been reset. Follow the in-app instruction in the KMC Smart app to re-add the device to your account.
Why is my smart plug running in the wrong time zone?
Your smart device is assigned the time zone your phone is set to at the time of setup. This time zone does not automatically update.
If your smart device is no longer running in the correct time zone, resetting your device will change its time zone to your phone's current time zone.
To reset your device, hold down the button on your smart device until the indicator light starts flashing. Your device has now been reset. Follow the in-app instruction in the KMC Smart app to re-add the device to your account.

Open the KMC Smart app to the Account tab and tap Alexa. Follow the in-app instructions to link your Amazon Alexa account with your KMC Smart account.
